If you are like me and your weight fluctuates by the day and you are looking for closet staples that will fit you in thickness and in thin, this is the dress for you. I typically wear a small or medium in dresses, but I ordered the XS based on the size guide and it fits like a dream on this 120-130lb, 5’5” frame without a single alteration needed.Here’s why I think this is a great dress:- POCKETS! Large pockets! I don’t know who keeps missing the memo that women want pockets, but the designer of this dress seems to have heard us, ladies. The pockets actually fit things in them, like an iPhone and small wallet. Love that.- linen blend makes this breezy and lightweight to wear in this seemingly never ending heatwave. I wore this in black all day yesterday in a heat index of 103 and this may just be the most sweat-friendly garment I own now. I cannot believe a black garment kept me cool. I have become a believer at this point.-It also dries extremely quickly if you, like me, are prone to accidentally sitting in a wet patio chair or spilling water on yourself, both of which have happened while wearing this basically self-drying dress. Seriously and no exaggeration: I sat in a soaking wet, metal patio rocker and my booty was dry in less than 5 minutes. I think the linen blend has some sort of magic in it.- the way the straps work is almost like a pulley system: you can tighten or loosen the back tie straps to adjust the length and fit of the dress. If you like a looser fit with a lower back, you can achieve that by loosening the back ties. Likewise, the front/bust area of the dress can be adjusted to fit your preferred neckline tightness and length.- because of all of the above, this dress is versatile as all get out! You can wear it as a dress, a beach cover up, you can make it more revealing or more conservative with the tie-straps. Amazing.- it’s stylish and looks high end. I seriously cannot believe how quality this dress has been at this price point…it has outperformed free people and anthro dresses that go for quadruple the cost. This legit has better stitching, fabric and fit than dresses I’ve spent over a hundred on.- black is not see through, nor does the fabric get easily wrinkled into oblivion.If any of this resonates with you, I say order it. Just make sure you size dooowwwnnn and check the size chart. I’m buying a backup as we speak.
